The Make a Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that grants a child with a life threatening disease their wish. The
impact that a granted wish can have on a child is priceless. Not only does it positively impact them but the families, referral
sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities as well.
Granting a childs all time wishes is an honorable jester. Living their dreams during their last precious moments can
give a child hope and take their mind off of the trauma they are going through.
In 2005 a record breaking 12,527 wishes were granted. These extraordinary goals have been reached thanks to the 25,000
volunteers that have collaborated to serve these children with life threatening conditions.
Snow Day & A Night in Fullerton Goal:
Our goal is raise awareness of what, Make a Wish Foundation, does and how they help others. We want to target the future
generation ages seven and up to let them know that donating and supporting a charity can be rewarding and fun. We are also
targeting the generations that are already donators or are soon to be donators and give them an amazing night out in their
hometown. To successfully have both children and adults to participate we will be hosting a morning event for children and
their parents and an evening event for adults. Both events will have a number of display boards with stories of children part
of the, Make a Wish Foundation, and their wishes that were granted. Next to these display boards children and adults will
be able to donate any lose change they may have. Both events will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006 in Fullertons Downtown
area.
